It is a great thing to wake up and verbally thank God for another day, but it is even better to go out and make the best of this day and thank him with your actions. He didn't just give Job a great life. the Bible says that he blessed the work of Job's hands! Job prayed hard and worked hard; a masterful combination of faith and works. (Read Job 1:10 and James 2:14-26) - Moe

Thank God for those, tenacious, determined, and committed saints who pressed their way to worship today even amid the aftermath of the storm, who remain determined to giving God praise inspite of it all! Especially grateful for the testimonies of victory and praise reports from those who have battled cancer and for young Teron Chapman who officially committed his life to the Lord today. For all those who desired to be here today but couldn't you were definitely in our thoughts and prayers! God is good ... Still!

THE JOB JOURNEY PREACHING SERIES: The Book of Job deals with the fundamental issues of life and faith. It is a book full of great depth and insight theologically, philosophically, and practically. Many of the characters and events that this book portreys can easily be seen in most of our lives and experiences. Bishop will be Preaching through the Book of Job for the next several weeks! Be sure to read through the Book of Job, and be in church each Sunday as we navigate through the varied dynamics and nuances that bombard Job's life and informs Job's faith.
